Which are the Laws for Christians to obey?

Are we to uphold a stricter version of the Mosaic Code? Complete freedom and hope you change one day? What did Jesus mean when he said the Father is looking for those who worship in spirit and in truth? (And what about the many other sayings about truth, law and love?)
